Our Car Seat Safety Story
In 2017 our Executive Director and Lead Child Passenger Safety Instructor, Jenn Christian, took her love of child safety and made it official by taking a Safe Kids Child Passenger Safety Technician course. From there Jenn participated in community events, attended every webinar she could find and created a Facebook page Cape Cod Car Seat Momma to spread the word of her services of private safety sessions. During this time many clients, friends and family urged Jenn to take this hobby and turn it into a business. In 2022, Jenn launched Cape Cod Car Seat Momma as an official business! While navigating the new role of a small business owner, Jenn realized that she could be accessible to more people by becoming a nonprofit. Now as a nonprofit, we are excited to share our expertise to help reduce preventable car seat misuse - because you can't control other people on the road, but you can control the safety standards in your own car.

Meet one-on-one with a car seat technician to learn the ins and outs of your car seat. You’ll finish with the knowledge and confidence to install your car seat on your own every time.

Group Education Classes
These classes are tailored to each group that reaches out. ‘Bringing Home Baby’ and ‘Car Seats 101: Finding the Right Seat’ are our two most popular trainings.

Community Safety Events
We love to be out in the community educating more caregivers on the importance of car seat safety and providing them with on-site seat checks at the same time.
